One week ago today, Bob and I went to our usual gathering of Helper's of God's Precious Children, praying outside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Center City. On that day, the Pro Life Union joined us and after we did our prayer vigil, we processed to the Cathedral for mass. (It's a pretty decent walk. Props to all who did it!)
Here are a few moments I thought were so lovely. Especially since we are so often maligned and misrepresented, I wanted to show the real tone of our presence.
And here are a few of the beautiful basilica--
I also would ask for your prayers for my family. Several of my kids are going through some rough times.

God bless all of you that pray in front of these abortion mills. Just the thought of being near one would makes my skin crawl. I don't know if I could stomach being there and watching women presumably just had an abortion coming out. I don't think I've actually ever seen one.
ReplyDeletePrayers sent for your children. How's your grandson with the broken collar bone doing?
Thanks. It is definitely a calling.
ReplyDeleteMy grandson recovered SO well from that injury! At first, the docs wanted him to go for physical therapy, but later said he healed so well that is wasn't necessary.
When my kids were young and we had a few broken bone incidents (in fact the daughter who is the mother of my grandson had broken HER collar bone when she was five), the docs used to tell us that the broken parts of
children's bones just needed to be in the same room and they would knit together just fine! lol
There are some serious issues that a couple of my daughters are working through for which we need prayer. I can't really post the details here to preserve their privacy. But it's intense stuff. Thank you for all your prayers.
Great to hear about your grandson. More prayers sent for your daughters.
